5.2 Defining a NetBackup Policy
1 Launch the Symantec NetBackup Administration Console.
2 Right-click the Policies node in the left pane to open the context menu.
3 Double click New Policy... and select the Attributes tab.
4 On the Attributes tab:
a Select MS-Windows-NT from the Policy type menu.
b Select the storage unit where the virtual copy backups will reside from the Policy
storage unit menu.
5 Select the Schedules tab and click New….
6 On the Schedule-Attributes tab:
a Enter a name for the schedule in the Name box.
b Select Full Backup from the Type of backup menu.
7 Select the Start Window tab.
8 Activate all the time slots by selecting from the following drop down menus:
Modify Day: Mon
Start Time: 12:00:00AM
End Day: Sun
End Time: 12:00:00AM
Duration (days): 7
NOTE: A storage unit to store the virtual copy backups should already be set up.

NOTE: Select User Backup if you are using the NetBackup client interface from
the machine where the Recovery Manager Agent for Exchange Server component
is installed.
