Power button board

Power button board (includes cable) L30975-001
Before removing the power button board, follow these steps:
1. Turn o the computer. If you are unsure whether the computer is o or in Hibernation, turn the
computer on, and then shut it down through the operating system.
2. Disconnect the power from the computer by unplugging the power cord from the computer.
3. Disconnect all external devices from the computer.
4. Remove the bottom cover (see Bottom cover on page 31).
5. Remove the battery (see Battery on page 33).
6. Remove the left speaker (see Bottom speakers on page 51).
Remove the power button board:
1. Disconnect the cable from the system board ZIF connector (1).
2. Remove the Phillips M2.0×3.0 screw (2), and then remove the bracket from the computer (3).
3. Lift the power button board out of the computer (4).
Reverse this procedure to install the power button board.
