Set up a Wi-Fi Direct connection
Use Wi-Fi Direct to connect to a printer wirelessly—without connecting to an existing wireless network. To
use Wi-Fi Direct:
• Make sure Wi-Fi Direct is enabled on the printer.
• To check the Wi-Fi Direct name and password (Network Key), press and hold the Menu button
on the
printer control panel and select Network > Network Conf....

Set up a wireless connection using Wi-Fi Protected Setup (WPS)
1. Press the WPS button on your router.
2. Within two minutes, press and hold the Menu button
on the printer and select Network > Wi-Fi > WPS >
PBC.
3. Wait while the printer automatically establishes the network connection. It takes up to two minutes. When
the network connection is established, the Wireless light
stops blinking and glows steady blue.
4. Continue to install the software.
