5. 65 W models: Loosen the three screws (2) that secure the heat sink, and then lift the heat sink out of
the chassis (2).
6. 95 W models: Disconnect the fan cable from the system board (1). Loosen the three screws (2) that
secure the heat sink and fan assembly, and then lift the assembly out of the chassis (3).
To replace the heat sink, reverse the removal procedures.
Thermal grease services the processor (1) and heat sink (2). Thermal pads service the system board
components (3) and heat sink (4).
