2. Use a ashlight to check for any jammed paper or foreign objects in the paper path and remove them.
To avoid tearing any whole sheets of paper, gently pull the paper with both hands.
To clear a paper jam from the cartridge access area
1.
Press (the Cancel button) to try to clear the jam automatically. If this does not work, complete the
following steps to clear the jam manually.
2. Open the cartridge access door.
3. Wait until the carriage stops moving.
4. Press to turn o the printer. Then disconnect the power cord from the rear of the printer.
CAUTION: To avoid the risk of electrical shock, you must unplug the power cord to move the carriage by
hand.
