Contacting HP
Information to collect before contacting HP
Be sure to have the following information available before you contact HP:
• HP BladeSystem Matrix Starter Kit or Expansion Kit c7000 enclosure serial number
• SAID (Service Agreement Identifier) if applicable
• Software product name
• Hardware product model number
• Operating system type and version
• Applicable error message
• Third-party hardware or software
• Technical support registration number (if applicable)
IMPORTANT: Be sure to mention that this is an HP BladeSystem Matrix configuration when
you call for support. Each HP BladeSystem Matrix Starter Kit or Expansion Kit c7000 serial
number identifies it as a HP BladeSystem Matrix installation.
