Parameter overview
Most commands require a parameter to clarify the action. Some parameters are optional and, if
not entered for a command, the default value is used.
The specific parameters and values that are valid for a given command depend on the target to
which you apply the command. To determine the valid parameters for a particular command, use
the help command. For more information about the help command, see “The help command”
(page 59).
