Fan
The fan is secured to the top of the heat sink with three Phillips screws. The fan and heat sink are spared
separately.
1. Prepare the computer for disassembly (Preparation for disassembly on page 17).
2. Remove the access panel (Access panel on page 18).
3. Remove the three Phillips screws (2) that secure the fan to the heat sink.
4. Disconnect the fan cable from the system board (1), and then lift the fan sink from atop the heat sink
(2).
Reverse the removal procedures to install the fan.
