Antennas
The antennas route from the WLAN module to the front and the rear of the computer.
1. Prepare the computer for disassembly (Preparation for disassembly on page 17).
2. Remove the access panel (Access panel on page 18).
3. Remove the front bezel (Front bezel on page 19).
4. Remove the drive cage (Drive cage on page 22).
5. Disconnect the internal antennas from the WLAN module (WLAN module on page 43).
6. Remove the antenna cable from the clips on the inside of the I/O bracket.
7. From the front of the computer, remove the Torx screw that secures the antenna to the front of the
computer (1).
8. Remove the Phillips screw that secures the antenna to the front of the chassis (1), peel the antenna o
the computer, and then pull the antenna through the hole (2) and away from the computer.
