The bail stepper motor continuously raises and lowers the bail assembly until you
press .

If the bail stepper motor fails the test, try replacing one of the following components:
1 Bail stepper motor  page 6Ć46.
2 Bail assembly  page 6Ć45.
3 Cable assembly  page 6Ć47.
4 Main PCA  page 6Ć9.
Only replace one component at a time and perform the “Bail Stepper” test again before
replacing another component. Using this procedure you will be able to determine exactly which
component failed.
