4. Remove the seven Phillips M2.5×6.6 screws (2) that secure the keyboard/top cover to the base enclosure.
5. Place the computer right side up with the front toward you.
6. Open the computer.
7. Insert a case utility tool (1) or similar thin, plastic tool into the keyboard/top cover front edge.
8. Lift up on the keyboard/top cover front edge (2) until it separates from the base enclosure.
9. Release the zero insertion force (ZIF) connector (3) to which keyboard cable is connected, and then
disconnect the keyboard cable from the system board.
10. Release the ZIF connector (4) to which touchpad cable is connected, and then disconnect
the touchpad cable from the system board.
