Before removing the ngerprint reader assembly, follow these steps:
1. Prepare the computer for disassembly (Preparation for disassembly on page 32).
2. Remove the bottom cover (see Bottom cover on page 32).
3. Remove the battery (see Battery on page 45).
4. Remove the system board (see System board on page 59).
Remove the ngerprint reader assembly:
1. Remove the Phillips M2.0 × 3.0 screw (1) that secures the ngerprint reader bracket to the computer.
2. Lift the bracket from on top of the ngerprint reader assembly (2).
