Product may or may not have fax cord enclosed. If not provided to reduce the risk of re, use only No. 26 AWG or
larger telecommunication line cord.
EU Statement for Telecom Operation
The printer meets applicable EU Directives and carries CE marking. For details see EU Declaration of Conformity
issued by the manufacturer in another section of this manual.
For printers with the feature to be connected to the analog Public Switched Telecommunication Networks (PSTN):
Due to dierences between individual European national PSTNs the product may not guarantee unconditional
assurance of successful operation on every PSTN termination point. Network compatibility depends on the
correct setting being selected by the customer in preparation of its connection to the PSTN. Please follow the
instructions provided in the user manual. If you experience network compatibility issues, please contact your
equipment supplier or HP Inc. help desk in the country of operation. Connecting to a PSTN termination point may
be the subject of additional requirements set out by the local PSTN operator.
New Zealand Telecom Statements
The grant of a Telepermit for any item of terminal equipment indicates only that Telecom has accepted that the
item complies with minimum conditions for connection to its network. It indicates no endorsement of the
product by Telecom, nor does it provide any sort of warranty. Above all, it provides no assurance that any item
will work correctly in all respects with another item of Telepermitted equipment of a dierent make or model, nor
does it imply that any product is compatible with all of Telecom’s network services.
This equipment may not provide for the eective hand-over of a call to another device connected to the same
line.
This equipment shall not be set up to make automatic calls to the Telecom “111” Emergency Service.
This product has not been tested to ensure compatibility with the FaxAbility distinctive ring service for New
Zealand.
