Card reader
The card reader is attached to the front of the computer.
Before removing the card reader, follow these steps:
1. Prepare the computer for disassembly (Preparation for disassembly on page 20).
2. Remove the access panel (Access panel on page 23).
3. Remove the front bezel (Front bezel on page 24).
4. Remove the drive cage (Drive cage on page 26).
Remove the card reader:
1. Remove the screw that secures the card reader to the front of the computer (1).
2. From the inside of the chassis, disconnect the card reader cable from the system board connector
labeled SD RDR (2).
3. Remove the card reader from the computer (3).
To install the card reader, reverse the removal procedures.
