Speaker
The speaker is attached to the inside-front of the computer.
Before removing the speaker, follow these steps:
1. Prepare the computer for disassembly (Preparation for disassembly on page 20).
2. Remove the access panel (Access panel on page 23).
3. Remove the front bezel (Front bezel on page 24).
4. Remove the drive cage (Drive cage on page 26).
Remove the speaker:
1. Remove the two Phillips screws (1) that secure the speaker to the front of the chassis.
2. Disconnect the speaker cable from the system board connector labeled SPKR (2), remove the cable from
the clip (3), and then remove the speaker from the computer (4).
To install the speaker, reverse the removal procedures.
