3. Disconnect the power from the computer by first unplugging the power cord from the AC outlet,
and then unplugging the AC adapter from the computer.

c. Optical drive (see

d. Modem module (see

e. Fan (see
Fan on page 67)
f. Heat sink (see
Heat sink on page 69)
g. Keyboard (see
Keyboard on page 64)
h. Top cover (see
Top cover on page 72)
When replacing the system board, be sure to remove the following components from the defective
system board and install on the replacement system board:

Memory module (see
Memory modules on page 55)
WLAN module (see
WLAN/Bluetooth combo card on page 59)
WWAN module (see
WWAN module on page 57)
Modem module (see

Remove the system board:
