Hardware If the failure appears to be associated with the peripheral:
Check the integrity of the cable connections.
Ensure that the peripheral is online.
If the failure appears to be associated with the System Processing Unit or the above

File System Run the file system checker (fsck) to correct the problem. Follow the directions that
