Refer to Figure 5-46 and follow these steps to remove the DIO-II center wall:
1. Remove the top and side covers, CPU board with plate attached, all DIO cards
and the 3-slot DIO-II card cage.
2. Remove the LED cable clamp from the chassis.
3. Remove the screw at the back, right-hand corner of the center wall.
4. Remove the two screws on the right, front edge of the center wall.
5. Remove the three screws on the left, bottom edge of the chassis to the center
wall.
6. Remove the three screws on the left, top edge of the chassis to the center wall.
7. Remove the center wall towards the right side.
To replace the DIO-II center wall, follow these steps:
1. Ensure that the main power distribution and main fan cables are wedged under
the chassis’ cable tab above the front main fan. Ensure that the cables are not
pinched anywhere.
2. Place the center wall on the chassis ensuring that the motherboards tabs fit into
their slots on the center wall. The back lower edge must fit inside the chassis.
3. Start one screw in a left, top, center hole in the chassis to the DIO-II center wall.
A tab at the chassis upper, rear corner should fit into a hole on the center wall
to hold the center wall in place while you install the screw. Do not completely
tighten the screw.
4. Start another screw in the oval hole in the back of the chassis just below the right
edge of the center wall. Do not completely tighten the screw.
5. Install the remaining screws for the center wall.
6. Verify all cables are not pinched and that the center wallts correctly.
7. Tighten all of the screws.
8. Replace the LED cable clamp and the other assemblies.
