Launching the EZSwitchSetup Switch Manager
This section describes how to launch EZSwitchSetup Switch Manager after you have already
installed it and set up the switch.
You can launch Switch Manager on any workstation with a compatible Web browser installed. For a
list of Web browsers compatible with Fabric OS v5.3.0, see Table 1 on page 2. Switch Manager also
supports the HTTPS protocol, if that protocol is enabled for the switch. For more information on
enabling the HTTPS protocol on your switch, see the Fabric OS Administrator’s Guide.
To launch the EZSwitchSetup Switch Manager
1. Launch a Web browser and type the IP address of the switch in the Address field:
http://10.77.77.77
or
https://10.77.77.77
2. Press Enter.
You will be prompted to log in to the switch at this time. See “Logging In” on page 26 for
information.
If there are other applications opened and when EZSwitchSetup manager launches, the login
dialog can get hidden behind the application so you will not be able to see it. In order to view
the login dialog press Alt+Tab and you can view the login dialog box.
Depending on the switch configuration, either the EZSwitchSetup Switch Manager or Web
Tools launches:
- EZSwitchSetup Switch Manager (see Figure 18 on page 22).
This interface launches if the switch is already set up and is configured with
EZSwitchSetup.
