diagClearError

Clears the diagnostics failure status.

Synopsis diagclearerror [[--slot] slotnumber] -all

Description Use this command to clear the diagnostics failure status.

Note The execution of this command is subject to Virtual Fabric or Admin Domain restrictions that may

be in place. Refer to chapter 1, "Using Fabric OS commands" and Appendix A, "Command

Availability" for details.

Operands This command has the following operand:

--slot slotnumber Specify the slot on which to clear the diagnostics failure status. The default is

set to 0 and designed to operate on fixed-port-count products.

-all If specified, all blades clear

If no operand is specified, the default is to clear all bad port flags.

Examples To clear the diag software flag:

switch:admin> diagclearerror 8

ERROR: DIAG CLEARERR

Diagnostics Errors Cleared, port: 8/31
