What is new in this document
The Fabric OS Command Reference v7.0.1Command supports the current Fabric OS release and the
new hardware platforms.
New commands
The following commands and associated man pages have been added since the publication of the Fabric
OS v7.0.0 release of this manual:
• appLoginHistory - Displays login history for external applications. The command was introduced in
Fabric OS v6.4.0, but did not have a help page.
• rtLogTrace - Enables and displays real-time trace logs.
Modified commands
The following commands and associated man pages have been modified to support new hardware
introduced in Fabric OS v7.0.1:
• perfTTmon - Added new operands to delete all or stale Top Talker monitors (--delete [[slot/]port |
-all | -sconfig]) and a help function.
• portCfg fciptunnel - New --ficon -print option to configure FICON printer emulation.
• portCfgCompress - Not supported on the Brocade 6505 and on the Brocade FC8-32E and
FC8-48E port blades.
• portCfgDPort- Not supported on the Brocade FC8-32E and FC8-48E port blades.
• portCfgEncrypt - Not supported on the Brocade 6505 and on the Brocade FC8-32E and FC8-48E
port blades.
• portCfgEXPort - New Network OS interop mode option -m 5.
• portCfgOctetSpeedCombo - Not supported on the Brocade 6500; supported on the Brocade
FC8-32E and FC8-48E port blades only with the default combination.
• portShow xtun - New --ficon -printperf command to display emulated printer performance.
• slotShow - Support for the Brocade FC8-32E and FC8-48E port blades. Clarified the description
of slot 5 in a DCX and in a DCX-4S and the description of the -p parameter.
The following commands and associated man pages have been corrected or updated with additional
information:
• bottleneckMon - Added error message ID (RAS Cx-1018) to the description of the credit
recovery feature.
• configure - The edge hold time parameter has been corrected. For Fabric OS v7.0.0 and later,
the parameter is by default enabled, and the default value is 220 milliseconds.
• configureChassis - Documented system.i2cTurboCnfg parameter.
• cryptoCfg - The Thales nCipher Key Appliance (NCKA) changed to Thales Encryption Manager
for Storage (TEMS). Added new key vault support for IBM Tivoli Key Lifecycle Manager (TKLM).
Updated master key export example.
• fcrLsanMatrix - Clarified description of FCR matrix, updated examples.
• portLedTest - The chassisDisable and chassisEnable commands must be used with this
diagnostics.
• portLoopbackTest - The chassisDisable and chassisEnable commands must be used with this
diagnostics. Updated for 16 Gbps speed mode.
