Reboots either one control processor (CP) or the entire system.

Description

Use this command to immediately reboot a CP or an entire single-CP system. The command line session is

closed.

When this command is issued on the active CP or on a single-CP system, all switches in the system are

entirely shut down and all Fibre Channel ports become inactive until the system restarts or the standby CP

reinitializes these ports. If any switch was part of a fabric, the remaining switches reconfigure.

When this command is issued on the standby CP, high availability (HA) synchronization is lost until the

standby CP successfully restarts.
