Temperature in the system rose above the critical threshold. Temperature has probably caused damage to
the switch; the system shuts down automatically.
Recommended action
1. To help prevent future problems, make sure that all the fans are working properly.
2. Make sure that the area is well ventilated and that the room temperature is within operational range
of your switch. Refer to the hardware reference manual for your switch for the operational
temperature range.

1. Run the fanShow command to verify that all fans are operating correctly.
2. Replace any deteriorating fan FRUs.
3. Run the tempShow command to verify temperature values.
4. If any sensor is too high, monitor the switch. Try rebooting or power cycling the switch.
