6.9.7 Testing the Barcode Scanner
6.9.7.1 Prerequisites
• Configurations with multiple H-Series Barcode Scanners in USB COM interface
1. Open OPOS Configuration Utility or JPOS Configuration Utility.
• C:\<Program Files directory>\HP\HP Barcode Scanner H-Series
OPOS\OPOS Configuration Utility.exe
• C:\<Program Files directory>\HP\HP Barcode Scanner H-Series
JPOS\JPOS Configuration Utility.exe
2. Select Edit/Remove device.
3. Click the Device type dropdown menu and select Scanner.
4. For each H-Series Barcode Scanner:
• Click the Device name dropdown menu and select the Barcode
Scanner.
• Click the Auto detect dropdown menu and select False.
• Click the Port dropdown menu and select the COM port for the Barcode
Scanner.
• Click the Modify Device button.
