Cleaning the Printer
Cleaning the Printer
To maintain print quality, clean the printer thoroughly:
! Every time you change the toner cartridge.
! Whenever print quality problems occur.
Clean the outside of the printer with a lightly water-dampened cloth. Clean the
inside with only a dry, lint-free cloth. Observe all warnings and cautions with
the cleaning tasks on the following page.
CAUTION Avoid touching the fusing area when cleaning the printer. It may be hot.
To avoid permanent damage to the toner cartridge, do not use
ammonia-based cleaners on or around your printer.
