HP Digital Copy Maintenance
Pad and Roller Maintenance
Cleaning of the pad and rollers is recommended every 6,000 pages.
Every 60,000 pages the pad and pick roller need to be replaced.
Print a configuration page for page count information since the last
maintenance. To print a configuration page, turn the printer on and be sure
READY is displayed. Press M
ENU
until INFORMATION MENU displays. Press I
TEM
until PRINT CONFIGURATION displays. Press S
ELECT
to print the configuration
pages.
Call your service provider to perform this service.
Note
In certain areas of California, air pollution control regulations restrict the use of
liquid Isopropyl Alcohol (IPA) as a cleaning agent. In those areas of California,
please disregard the previous recommendations and use a dry, lint-free cloth.
The cloth may be moistened with waterif desired.
