použít software na disku CD-ROM HP DesignJet
500PS RIP Software Setup. Pokud je tiskárna
HP DesignJet 500PS připojena přímo přes síť,
vytvořte nejdříve pomocí disku CD-ROM HP
DesignJet Printers Software Setup (výše) síťový
port a potom nainstalujte software z disku CD-
ROM HP DesignJet 500PS RIP Software Setup.

Klientské nastavení
Tiskárna je již nastavena jako sdílené zařízení v síti
a je spravována serverem nebo jiným počítačem.
4. Po zobrazení obrazovky Network Printer Setup
(Nastavení síťové tiskárny) vyberte možnost Client
Setup (Klientské nastavení).
5. Podle pokynů na obrazovce dokončete instalaci
softwaru.

Nastavení sítě
1. Připojte tiskárnu k síti.
2. Ujistěte se, že je tiskárna správně nastavena,
zapnuta a připravena k tisku.
3. Vložte disk CD-ROM HP DesignJet Printers
Software Setup a odpovězte na otázky.
(V případě, že se disk CD-ROM nespustí
automaticky, spusťte program SETUP.EXE
umístěný v jeho kořenovém adresáři.)
Vyberte typ nastavení sítě >>>>
Přímé nastavení sítě
Tiskárna bude nastavena a spravována v síti přímo
tímto počítačem.
4. Po zobrazení obrazovky Network Printer Setup
vyberte možnost Direct Network Setup (Přímé
nastavení sítě).
Platforma UNIX
Chcete-li nainstalovat síťový software,
vložte disk CD-ROM HP Jetdirect.
Přímé připojení (paralelní kabel nebo kabel
USB)
1. Ujistěte se, že je tiskárna správně nastavena,
zapnuta a připravena k tisku.
2. Ujistěte se, že je tiskárna připojena k počítači
prostřednictvím paralelního kabelu nebo kabelu
USB, a zkontrolujte správné připojení kabelů.
3. Vložte disk CD-ROM HP DesignJet Printers
Software Setup a odpovězte na otázky.
(V případě, že se disk CD-ROM nespustí
automaticky, spusťte program SETUP.EXE

Podrobné informace o všech discích CD-ROM najdete
v dokumentaci dodávané s těmito disky. (V krabici
s tiskárnou pravděpodobně najdete také další disky
CD-ROM, které obsahují ukázky a doplňkový materiál.

For the HP DesignJet 500PS printer, you should
use the software on the HP DesignJet 500PS
RIP Software Setup CD. If your HP DesignJet
500PS printer is connected directly over a
network, first use the HP DesignJet Printers
Software Setup CD (above) to create a network
port, and then install the software from the HP
DesignJet 500PS RIP Software Setup CD.
Don’t forget...
• Keep the packaging in which your printer was packed; there are repacking
instructions on the HP web-site, www.designjet-online.com, in case you need to
return the printer. (If you no longer have this packaging when you need it, a
Repackaging Kit is available from HP.)
• The blue documentation pack (the “day-to-day pack”) is for the day-to-day use
of the printer and should be made available to its users.)
• The User’s Reference Guide for this printer is on the Using Your Printer CD (in
the “Day-to-day” pack of documentation and other items).
To install network software,
insert the HP JetDirect CD.
