Ak pracujete so systémom Windows 98 a
používate port USB, pozrite si časť

na strane 7.
Pre tlačiareň HP DesignJet 500PS by ste mali
použiť softvér na disku CD HP DesignJet 500PS
RIP Software Setup CD. Ak je tlačiareň HP
DesignJet 500PS pripojená priamo na sieť,
najprv vytvorte sieťový port pomocou disku HP
DesignJet Printers Software Setup CD, a potom
nainštalujte softvér z disku CD HP DesignJet
500PS RIP Software Setup CD.
Ako pripojiť
tlačiareň k vášmu
počítaču?
Nastavenie klienta
Tlačiareň je už nastavená ako zdieľané zariadenie v
sieti a riadi ju server alebo iný osobný počítač.
4. Keď prejdete na obrazovku nastavenia sieťovej
tlačiarne,
zvoľte Client Setup.
5. Postupujte podľa pokynov a dokončite inštaláciu
softvéru.

Sieťové nastavenie
1. Tlačiareň pripojte k sieti.
2. Uistite sa, že tlačiareň je správne nastavená,
zapnutá a pripravená na tlač.
3. Vložte inštalačný disk CD HP DesignJet Printers
Software Setup (Inštalačný softvér tlačiarní HP
DesignJet) a odpovedzte na otázky.
(V prípade, že sa disk CD nespustí automaticky,
spustite program SETUP.EXE v hlavnom adresári).
Zvoľte typ sieťového nastavenia >>>>
Priame sieťové nastavenie.
Tlačiareň bude nastavená a riadená prostredníctvom
siete priamo týmto počítačom.
4. Keď prejdete na obrazovku nastavenia sieťovej
tlačiarne,
zvoľte Direct Network Setup.
UNIX
Na inštaláciu sieťového softvéru
použite disk CD HP Jetdirect.
Priame pripojenie (paralelný alebo USB kábel)
1. Uistite sa, že tlačiareň je správne nastavená,
zapnutá a pripravená na tlač.
2. Tlačiareň musí byť k počítaču pripojená paralelným
káblom alebo káblom USB. Skontrolujte, či sú
káble riadne pripojené.
3. Vložte inštalačný disk CD HP DesignJet Printers
Software Setup (Inštalačný softvér tlačiarní HP
DesignJet) a odpovedzte na otázky.
(V prípade, že sa disk CD nespustí automaticky,

Tlačiareň bude nastavená v sieti a riadiť ju bude server
Novell.
Len pre správcov systému.

For the HP DesignJet 500PS printer, you should
use the software on the HP DesignJet 500PS
RIP Software Setup CD. If your HP DesignJet
500PS printer is connected directly over a
network, first use the HP DesignJet Printers
Software Setup CD (above) to create a network
port, and then install the software from the HP
DesignJet 500PS RIP Software Setup CD.
Don’t forget...
• Keep the packaging in which your printer was packed; there are repacking
instructions on the HP web-site, www.designjet-online.com, in case you need to
return the printer. (If you no longer have this packaging when you need it, a
Repackaging Kit is available from HP.)
• The blue documentation pack (the “day-to-day pack”) is for the day-to-day use
of the printer and should be made available to its users.)
• The User’s Reference Guide for this printer is on the Using Your Printer CD (in
the “Day-to-day” pack of documentation and other items).
To install network software,
insert the HP JetDirect CD.
