USB cable
Purchase a Universal Serial Bus (USB)
2.0 full-speed compliant cable. Use with
Windows 98, Me, 2000, XP, and/or
Macintosh computer systems.
The USB cable should not exceed 3 m
(10 ft.) in length.

Windows
The printer can be connected to a
network in one of two ways:
The printer can be connected directly
to a computer on a network and then
shared with other computers on the
network.
The printer can be connected to a
network with an HP Jetdirect Print
Server (such as the HP 175x, HP
310x, or HP 380x), which must be
purchased separately.
All print server models are not
available in all countries/regions.
For instructions on connecting the
printer to a network with an HP print
server, use the printer software CD
and follow the onscreen network
setup instructions.
Macintosh
Use an HP Jetdirect External Print Server
to connect the printer to a network that
supports an AppleTalk or a TCP/IP
connection.
The HP Jetdirect External Print Server
must be purchased separately and is not
available in all countries/regions.
