To set the time, date, and fax header
To set or change the time and date, follow these steps.
1 On the control panel, press the menu button to access the main
menu.
2 Select CONFIGURE DEVICE.
3 Select the FAX menu.
4 Select GENERAL.
5 Select DATE/TIME.
6 Using the numeric keypad, enter the current date.
• Make sure you use two digits to specify the month and day (for
example, use “05” for May and “01” for the first day of the month).
7 Select CURRENT TIME.
8 Using the numeric keypad, enter the current time.
9 Select FAX HEADER.
10 Using the keyboard, enter the fax number and the name of your
company.
Setting rings-to-answer
The rings-to-answer setting determines the number of times the phone
rings before an incoming call is answered by the fax accessory.
To set the number of rings-to-answer
To set or change the number of rings-to-answer, follow these steps.
1 On the control panel, press the menu button to access the main
menu.
2 Select CONFIGURE DEVICE.
3 Select the FAX menu.
4 Select FAX RECEIVE.
5 Select RINGS TO ANSWER.
6 Using the numeric keypad, enter the correct number of
rings-to-answer.
