Consumer onsite service
Consumer Imaging & Printing – Additional Warranty Services
Hewlett-Packard now offers customers Onsite Exchange for
Consumer Imaging & Printing products, thereby removing the
need for the customer to travel to a service centre or return to
their place of purchase. The service is provided in addition to
the standard warranty and is free of charge to customers. HP
will also endeavour to offer the service on a nationwide basis
wherever possible.

• DeskJet, DeskWriter
• OfficeJet, Colour Copier
• ScanJet, PhotoSmart Products
• Digital Projector
• LaserJets (entry level)

All cartridges sent to HP are tested for:
• Expiry Date
• Refillable ink
• Weight – to determine if empty
• Misuse
• Damage
• And any other damage that may void the warranty
We recommend you also do your own testing prior to replacing
with the customer. At a very minimum the cartridge should be
checked for:
• Expiry Date (on cartridge)
• Damage
• Misuse
