Print multiple pages on one sheet of paper in Macintosh
You can print more than one page on a single sheet of paper. This feature provides a cost-effective way to
print draft pages.
1. On the File menu, click Print.
2. Select the driver.
3. Open the Layout menu.
4. Next to Pages per Sheet, select the number of pages that you want to print on each sheet (1, 2, 4, 6, 9,
or 16).
5. Next to Layout Direction, select the order and placement of the pages on the sheet.
6. Next to Borders, select the type of border to print around each page on the sheet.

1. Insert enough paper into the input tray to accommodate the print job. If you are loading special paper
such as letterhead, load it face-down in the tray.
2. On the File menu, click Print.
3. Mac OS X v10.4: In the Layout drop-down list, select the Long-edged binding item or the Short-edged
binding item.

Mac OS X v10.5 and v10.6: Click the Two-sided check box.
4. Click Print. Follow the instructions in the dialog box that opens on the computer screen before placing
the output stack in the tray for printing the second half.
5. Go to the product, and remove any blank paper that is in the tray.
6. Take the printed stack from the output bin, and then insert the stack printed side down into the tray
with the top edge feeding into the product first.
7. At the computer, click the Continue button to finish the print job.
