3. Select the product that you want to upgrade, and then click the Next button.

4. The program confirms that the firmware on the CD is more current than the product firmware.
Click the Next button to continue the update process.
5. The update program opens a progress bar dialog box. When the process is complete, click
the Close button.

If the firmware on the software CD is older than the firmware on the product, you will need to
download the firmware update file from
www.hp.com/go/ljcp5220series_software and save the file
to a computer. Refer to the product install notes for instructions on how to install the firmware update
file on the product.
NOTE: When you update the firmware, the HP Printer Update utility can no longer run from the CD.
It must be updated from the Web:
www.hp.com/go/ljcp5220series_software.
