Caveats
CSCsq70353
Symptom: The QOS component on a standby Supervisor module looses a small amount of memory
during every port flap. This loss increases over time and may result in the QOS component restarting
on the standby Supervisor module. This affects standby Supervisor modules on MDS 9500 series
switches only. This does not affect active Supervisor modules on MDS 9500 series switches or active
Supervisor modules on fabric switches.
Workaround : This issue is resolved.
CSCsc67248
Symptom: The SSH key information is not consistent between the CLI and SNMP agent.
Workaround: This issue is resolvled.

Symptom: The FCIP link flaps. This issue can be identified by connecting to the associated module
and issuing the show port-config internal link-events command as shown below.

the show ips internal eth-trace-logs gigabitethernet <x/y> command as shown below.

Symptom: SME may generate a CHECK CONDITION as a part of the media identification when
the tape is loaded into a STK 9xxx drive if the first block on the tape is greater than 60 KB. The
current interop matrix supports only TSM backup application on STK 9xxx family of drives and this
application does not suffer from this issue.
Workaround: This issue is resolved.
CSCsq32228
Symptom: The scheduler process fails when configured with a job configuration which generates
more than 5 MB of output (for example, the show tech-support detail command which generates
about 20 MB of output). If the scheduler process fails more than 3 times, then the scheduler process
may not function properly and issuing the copy run start command will fail.
Workaround: This issue is resolved.
