Symptom: An In Service Software Upgrade (ISSU) from one Cisco MDS NX-OS version to a
succeeding version might cause a port failure.
Condition: When a user performs an ISSU from a Cisco MDS NX-OS Release 5.2(6) or later to the
same NX-OS release and Cisco MDS Generation 4 switching modules (DS-X9248-256K9 or
DS-X9232-256K9) are installed on the Cisco MDS 9500 switch.
Workaround: This issue is resolved.

Symptom: Backups and retrievals of Fibre Channel attached SCSI Tape (or disk) fails over Cisco
MDS 9200 Series and 9500 Series switches that run the I/O Accelerator (IOA) configuration.
Condition: Larger than 2090 bytes of the Fiber Channel data field are used when an application
performs a write or read operation.
Workaround: This issue is resolved.

Symptom: The inter-VSAN routing (IVR) feature checks for the ENTERPRISE_PKG license prior
to checking for the STORAGE_SERVICES_ENABLER_PKG license.
Condition: IVR checks out the SAN_EXTN_OVER_IP package licenses during the grace period
although these are licenses are not installed on the switch.
Workaround: This issue is resolved.
