Caveats
Symptom: User cannot reset the timeout value by using the tune lrtp-retx-timeout command after
an IOA failure.
Condition: This occurs if the tune lrtp-retx-timeout command is used set to a nondefault value and
there is an IOA port software failure. The default timeout value is 2500 milliseconds. Any
configured value that is different from the default is not reinitialized properly after a failure.
Workaround: This issue is resolved.

Symptom: The first SSH login fails although the correct password is entered.
Condition: This issue applies only to SSH logins on Cisco MDS 9100 and 9200 Series switches both
in the CLI and SNMP logins.
Workaround: This issue is resolved.
CSCuc17269
Symptom: The management port is inaccessible after a supervisor switchover.
Workaround: This issue is resolved.
CSCuc85584
Symptom: Standby supervisor remains in the powered-up status and fails to reach standby status.
The show logging logfile command displays the following messages:
%SYSMGR-2-GSYNC_SNAPSHOT_SRVFAILED: Service "fcns" on active supervisor failed to
store its snapshot (error-id 0x80480018).
%SYSMGR-2-STANDBY_BOOT_FAILED: Standby supervisor failed to boot up.
Condition: This occurs only if the standby supervisor has rebooted more than 200 times since the
active supervisor became active.
Workaround: This issue is resolved.

Symptom: The Cisco MDS 9000 16-Port Storage Services Node (SSN-16) has continuous port
software failures.
Workaround: This issue is resolved.
CSCud70562
Symptom: The show ioa cluster command displays the following error:
The Cluster node c1 does not have a remote site defined
Condition: This situation occurs after a user performs the write erase, reload, and attempts to create
an I/O Accelerator (IOA) cluster.
Workaround: This issue is resolved.
CSCud97895
Symptom: After using the load-balancing enable command for I/O Accelerator (IOA), all flows
fail to come online.
Condition: This situation occurs only when the load-balancing enable command is used after an
IOA service engine is shut or no shut or an Cisco MDS MSM 18+4 module or SSN 16 module is
powered off and then powered on.
Workaround: This issue is resolved.
