Symptom: When running Fabric Manager 3.2(3) and SAN-OS 3.2(3), go to Fabric Manager >
Physical Devices Panel > End Devices > Hosts. The panel that displays in the top right showing the
Nx ports does not display all fields for 4GB Qlogic modules. It does not show Model, Firmware or
Driver for 4GB Qlogic cards. 2GB Qlogic modules for same switch and FM, show Model, Firmware
and Driver.
If you look in Device Manager > FC > Name Server > Advanced tab. In the SymbolicNodeName
column you can see HPAE311A FW:v4.00.23 DVR:v9.1.3.16 for the card that does not display
correctly in Fabric Manager.
On the switch, if you enter show fcns data detail command you can see the
symblic-node-name for the missing HBA.
