Chapter 2 System Messages and Recovery Procedures for the Cisco MDS 9000 Family
Error Message FSPF-4-LSR_MIN_LS_ARRIVAL: Packet arrived before MIN_LS_ARRIVAL,
Dropping LSR [dec] on interface [chars] in VSAN [dec].
Explanation An LSR packet is dropped as it arrived before MIN_LS_ARRIVAL.LSR belonged to
the domain shown in the error message and was received on the interface and VSAN shown in the
error message.
Recommended Action This can occur in a transient situation; the protocol recovers by retransmitting
the LSR. If the message is seen continuously, provide the output of the debug fspf flood, debug fspf
retrans and debug fspf error CLI commands. The message may be seen more often when
interoperating with other vendors. You can alternatively use Fabric Manager and/or Device Manager
instead of the command line method.

Error Message FSPF-4-LSU_RX_INIT: Dropping LSU received in state INIT on interface
[chars] in VSAN [dec].
Explanation An LSU packet is dropped because the interface is in the initialization (INIT) state
when it received the LSU.
Recommended Action This can occur in some transient situations. If the problem persists, provide
the output of the show fspf VSAN [dec] interface and debug fspf fc pkt and debug fspf event
VSAN [dec] commands to your customer support representative.

Error Message FSPF-5-STARTING: Routing daemon started.
Explanation Fabric Shortest Path First (FSPF) routing daemon has been started.
Recommended Action No action is required.

Explanation
A new LSR is added to the database for the domain and VSAN shown in the error
