Error Message LICMGR-3-LOG_LIC_MESSAGE_ERROR: could not handle message: [chars] of

Explanation Could not handle an interprocess communications (IPC) message, of the type shown in
the error message, sent by a component running on the shown node and service access point (SAP).
Recommended Action If you purchased Cisco support through a Cisco reseller, contact the reseller
directly. If you purchased support directly from Cisco Systems, contact Cisco Technical Support.

Error Message LICMGR-3-LOG_LIC_NO_LIC: No license(s) present for feature [chars].

Explanation The feature has not been licensed. The feature will work for a grace period, then any
applications using the feature will be shut down.
