Chapter 2 System Messages and Recovery Procedures for the Cisco MDS 9000 Family
Error Message SYSMGR-3-GSYNC_TIMEOUT_FAILED: Failed to set timeout for global sync
for an application ([dec]).
Explanation Failed to set the time-out for global synchronization for an application. Global
synchronization may be stuck permanently if the application never completes global
synchronization.
Recommended Action No action is required.

Error Message SYSMGR-3-HEARTBEAT_FAILURE: Service "[chars]" sent SIGABRT for not
setting heartbeat for last [dec] periods.
Explanation A service is not setting proper heartbeats to the system manager. The system manager
has terminated this service and if this service has restartability set to TRUE, the service will restart
automatically.
