To configure the Fibre Channel domain feature, use the fcdomain command. To disable the Fibre
Channel domain, use the no form of the command.

Syntax Description
Command Default Enabled.
Command Modes Configuration mode
Command History
allowed domain Configures the allowed domain ID list ranging from 1 to 239.
vsan vsan-id Specifies a VSAN ID. The range is 1 to 4093.
auto-reconfigure Configures autoreconfigure.
contiguous-allocation Configures contiguous allocation.
domain id Configures the domain ID and its type. The range is 0 to 239.
preferred Configures the domain ID as preferred. By default, the local switch accepts
the domain ID assigned by the principal switch and the assigned domain ID
becomes the runtime domain ID.
static Configures the domain ID as static. The assigned domain ID is discarded, all
local interfaces are isolated, and the local switch assigns itself the configured
domain ID, which becomes the runtime domain ID.
fabric-name name Specifies the fabric name. The name format is hh:hh:hh:hh:hh:hh:hh:hh.
fcid Configures Fibre Channel domain persistent FC IDs.
database
Enters persistent FC IDs mode.
persistent Enables or disables Fibre Channel domain persistent FC IDs.
optimize fast-restart Enables a domain manager fast restart on a specified VSAN.
priority value Specifies the Fibre Channel domain priority. The range is 1 to 254.
restart Starts a disruptive or nondisruptive reconfiguration.
disruptive (Optional) Forces the disruptive fabric reconfiguration.
