Verifying the printer is installed correctly
Configuration page
Print a configuration page to verify that the printer was installed
correctly. Configuration pages include the following information:
l general information about the printer (such as serial number and
number of pages since most recent maintenance)
l installed languages
l last three printer events
l memory available and installed DIMMs
l printer control panel and printer hard disk security
l installed optional equipment (such as a 2,000-sheet input unit,
multi-bin mailbox, 3,000-sheet stapler/stacker or 3,000-sheet
stacker, or duplexer)
l tray configuration

To print a configuration page
1 Press MENU until INFORMATION MENU appears on the printer
control panel display.
2 Press I
TEM until PRINT CONFIG PAGE appears on the display.
3 Press S
ELECT to print the configuration page.
EIO page
Use the printer control panel to print an EIO page to verify network
configuration.
To print an EIO page
1 Press MENU until INFORMATION MENU appears on the printer
control panel display.
2 Press I
TEM until PRINT EIO PAGE appears on the display.
3 Press S
ELECT to print the EIO page.
