Device Settings tab features
Follow these steps to access the Device Settings tab.
1. Click Start, Settings, and then click one of the following:

for Windows 2000, click Printers.
●
for Windows XP Professional and Windows Server 2003, click Printers and Faxes.
●
for Windows XP Home, click Printers and Other Hardware Devices.
2. Right-click the MFP name, and then click Properties.
3. Click Device Settings.
The Device Settings tab contains controls for media-handling devices and controls for managing the
HP Color LaserJet CM1015 MFP/CM1017 MFP.
Various options are available on the Device Settings tab depending on whether you are using the
HP PCL 6 Unidriver or the PS Emulation Unidriver. The following figures show the Device Settings tab
for each of these drivers.
