1-26 Color Calibration
Eye-One Pro 21. Place the Eye-One Pro in its stand, press and hold the but-
ton on its side until the reading is taken.
The server beeps when the reading is complete, then displays
a prompt for you to begin reading the swatches.
22. Place a sheet of unprinted white media underneath the
calibration page before you take any readings.
23. Place the scanning ruler over the calibration page, and
place the Eye-One Pro on the guide.

24. Position the Eye-One Pro to the left of the first row of
swatches as shown below. Move the scanning ruler if nec-
essary to position the Eye-One Pro.
25. Press and hold the Eye-One Pro button until the server
beeps.
26. Continue to hold the button as you read the swatches by
smoothly moving the Eye-One Pro from left to right.
27. When you reach the end of the row, release the button.
If there was an error reading the patches, the print server
will prompt you to re-read the row. Try again, moving the
Eye-One slower and more smoothly.
28. Repeat steps 24 through 27 for each row of swatches.
29. Go to step 34.
