ColorMark Legacy+ & Post-RIP Image Manipulation 1
Introduction ColorSpan’s ColorMark Legacy+ Advanced Color Management software enables the manipulation of an image after it has been RIP’ed (processed by the PostScript interpreter). This feature allows users to tweak images on the server, eliminating the need to edit the original source document and re-process the file. There are three image properties that can be manipulated: cropping, color, and picture placement. Each is described below.

The 2400 2400 pixel x bounding box converts to 8" 8". To crop the image, either enter numeric values in the Crop Box text fields, or click and drag the handles at the edges of the preview.
Hue–the property of color that is determined by the wavelengths of light coming from an object. It is the property we refer to when we call a color by its name. Below is a graphic of the post-RIP color manipulation interface. Click the radio button for the feature you’d like to edit, and move the joystick until the image looks like what you are looking for. To undo a change, click the button labeled “Center” to return the current value to zero.
