Overview of the ProLiant Cluster HA/F500 for
Enterprise Virtual Array
The ProLiant™ Cluster HA/F500 for Enterprise Virtual Array is a two-, three-, or
four-node cluster solution composed of Compaq ProLiant servers and the
StorageWorks™ Enterprise Virtual Array by Compaq storage system. This cluster
solution executes on a Microsoft Windows 2000 Advanced Server platform with
Microsoft Cluster Service (two-node), a Microsoft Windows 2000 Datacenter Server
platform with Microsoft Cluster Service (two-node to four-node), or Microsoft
Windows NT Server 4.0, Enterprise Edition platform with Microsoft Cluster Server
(two-node). The ProLiant Cluster HA/F500 provides the highest levels of availability
and can be configured to provide an environment in which there are no single points
of failure (NSPOF), creating a cluster environment ideal for business-critical
applications and data access requirements.
