Overview of the ProLiant Cluster HA/F500 for
Enterprise Virtual Array
The ProLiant Cluster HA/F500 for Enterprise Virtual Array is a two-, three-, four- or
eight-node cluster solution (eight-node clustering is supported by Microsoft
®
Windows
®
Server 2003, Enterprise Edition) composed of HP ProLiant servers and
the StorageWorks Enterprise Virtual Array (EVA) storage system. This cluster
solution executes on a Microsoft Windows Server 2003 Enterprise Edition platform,
a Microsoft Windows 2000 Advanced Server platform with Microsoft Cluster
Service (two-node), or a Microsoft Windows NT
®
Server 4.0, Enterprise Edition
platform with Microsoft Cluster Server (two-node). The ProLiant Cluster HA/F500
provides the highest levels of availability and can be configured to provide an
environment in which there are no single points of failure (NSPOF), creating a
cluster environment ideal for business-critical applications and data access
requirements.
