Renaming the Host Connections
Rename the host connections using a meaningful connection name to help identify
which hosts are in use. Each host bus adapter is displayed as a connection. An
individual host bus adapter is identified by its WWN, which is displayed in the
connection description.
The default name for each connection is !NEWCONxx. Change the connection name
for each connection to something meaningful and easy to remember.
Use the worksheet in Table 2-2 when renaming the host connections. Fill in the fields
accordingly to prepare for renaming the connections.
