(8) Volume up hotkey (pg up) Increases speaker sound when pressed in combination with the
fn key.
(9) Volume mute hotkey (home) Mutes and restores speaker sound when pressed in combination
with the fn key.
Using the media button (select models only)
The function of the media button varies by model and installed software. With this button, you can watch
movies, listen to music, and view pictures.
Depending on your computer model, pressing the media button launches either the QuickPlay
programor the DVDPlay program.
NOTE: If the computer has been set up to require a logon password, you may be asked to log on to
Windows. QuickPlay or DVDPlay opens after you log on. Refer to the QuickPlay or DVDPlay software
