Setting the Speed for an IBM 16/4
Token Ring PCI Special with WOL
Controller
Complete the following steps to set the ring speed for the IBM 16/4 Token
Ring PCI Special with WOL controller.
1. Click Start, then select Programs.
2. Select Administrative Tools, Computer Management, then Device
Manager.
3. Expand the Network Adapters section.
4. Select IBM 16/4 Token Ring PCI Special, then Properties.
5. Select the Advanced tab, then select Network Data Rate.
6. Select either 4Mbps or 16Mbps from the drop-down list on the right,
then click OK.
Installing the AIT 50/100 Tape Drive
If an AIT 50/100 tape drive has been purchased and preinstalled on the server,
support for the tape drive must be installed manually. Follow the procedures
below to complete the installation:
1. Right-click the My Computer icon on the desktop, then select Manage.
2. Select Device Manager from the left side of the Computer
Management screen to display a list all available devices on the right
side of the screen.
NOTE: The tape drive will be listed in the Other Devices category under the question
mark (?) icon, which indicates an unknown device, until the correct driver is installed.
3. Right-click the Compaq SDX-500C SCSI Sequential Device, and
select Properties.
4. Select the Driver tab, then click Update Driver. The Update Device
Driver Wizard begins.
5. Select Display a List of the Known Drivers, then click Next.
6. Scroll down the list of drivers, select Tape Drives, then click Next.
7. Click Have Disk, then type the following path in the text box:
C:\CPQDRVRS
